Downtown Public Safety Meeting

Description

As we prepare for a busy summer season, learn more about efforts already underway to improve safety downtown and how we can all work together to make a difference.

You will hear from Mayor Roger Reinert, who has made downtown a priority. You’ll have an opportunity to meet our new City Attorney, Jessica Fralich, and hear how her office is working to enforce existing ordinances to help curb illegal activity. And Police Chief Mike Ceynowa will give an update on changes that have already occurred, including increased foot patrols and the enforcement of no panhandling in a median. Plus, you will learn additional tips on de-escalating a situation.

This is an important meeting for our business community and we encourage you to attend.
